Descripción
Sumario:The paper presents partial results of research carried out with residents of the Nossa Senhora da Paz complex, in Londrina/PR/Brazil. It aims to analyze the feeling of belonging to the territory, as well as the socio-spatial segregation that may last among the subjects. Bibliographical and documentary research was used, as well as a cartographic and statistical survey seeking to describe and contextualize the territory. The action research used as a methodology seeks to develop a territorial praxis committed to social transformation, in which the subjects of the process have as a result exchanges of knowledges. Preliminary results indicate that even decades after the beginning of the occupation, residents still feel segregated due to the locality is not minimally served by basic services, which shows the deprivation of access to the rights to the city; moreover, the stigma they carry due to the popularity of the name “favela da Bratac”, which creates difficulties in finding jobs.
