In contrast, "Grapixo" focuses on the artist painting their own name in vibrant, stylized letters, often incorporating colorful backgrounds and intricate compositions. This visual approach, with its signature placed horizontally at the bottom amidst spiraling colors, encourages passersby to engage with the artwork on a deeper level. Rather than mere sleight of hand, this blend of colors and names within the realm of street art prompts viewers to scrutinize the underlying message, crafted by skilled hands in a cultural milieu. The study draws upon sociological research methods, employing social cartography of urban spaces and non-participant observation to construct narratives and analytical insights into these artistic expressions.O artigo consiste no estudo de caso sobre intervenção de arte urbana difundida no Grande Recife. Este estudo, realizado a partir de uma vivência como espectador em uma oficina de grafite no início de 2022, teve como recorte principal a investigação de um estilo específico sob o formato derivado da junção das palavras Pixação e Grafite – “Grapixo”. Grafite é a pintura de muro de rua com imagens, e pixação é só o nome e o símbolo da/a pixador/a em spray ou rolo. Já “Grapixo”, ocorre quando o artista escreve o próprio nome pintado com as letras estilizadas e coloridas. Desta vez, o planejamento visual tem uma preocupação mais útil com a composição, intercalando a assinatura com o plano de fundo de cores em espiral, uma vez que na parte inferior consta-se o nome na horizontal. Longe da prestidigitação, essa miscelânea de cores e nomes nos mundos da arte de rua estimula a percepção do transeunte em olhar com acuidade o código, visto que foi produzido em uma monocultura de “mãos inteligentes”.
