| Resumo: | Introduction: The news of the Coronavirus was received by the world in a tragic way and was classified by the World Health Organization as an international public health emergency. The COVID-19 scenario established problems for children with ASD and their families, in addition to all the difficulties, there was a need to adapt and reorganize the routine. Objective: To identify what the routine of children with ASD and their families is like during the pandemic. Method: Research was carried out in the Eric, Google Scholar, Lilacs, Sage, Scielo and Scopus databases. As inclusion criteria, we used publications from 2019 to 2021, which included in the subject, title, abstract or keywords, all the descriptors: “autism”, “autistic”, “COVID19”, “pandemic”, “tea”, “family” and “child”, or research in education in times of COVID-19, connected by the Boolean operator AND written in capital letters. Results: the overload of mothers, as they are fundamentally responsible for managing activities with the guidance of professionals; The child with ASD needs care and people giving support; had an impact on the social and school context. Conclusion: COVID-19 has brought challenges for children with ASD and their guardians. The data found indicate that, as it is still a recent subject, many studies are yet to come, making texts on the subject scarce. It is necessary to investigate the impact of the pandemic and social isolation (through different ways along with the provisions of each country in relation to children with ASD and their families. |
