| Sumario: | This research has as its central theme the narratives of the graduates of the Affirmative Actions Program of the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul - UFRGS, their social trajectories, and the possibility of building knowledge, and reconversion of cultural capital and habitus. The research covered the period of entry of quota holders between 2008 and 2012. The theoretical path focused on the categories of habitus, class and cultural capital of Pierre Bourdieu. The methodological approach used was a quantitative and qualitative research, of the bibliographic, documentary and exploratory type, based on oral history. Online questionnaires were sent to the entire universe of graduates, however the sample of this research focused on 155 graduates and thematic interviews were also carried out with 10 graduates. The data obtained reveal that the experience lived by the quota students in this sample provided a resignification in their cultural capital and habitus. |
