Descripción
Sumario:The aim of this paper is to present and analyse the work followed by a group of mathematics education students in an environment of problem solving and use of GeoGebra. To do this, we worked on a Euclidean Geometry course for 16 weeks, from the second year of the university degree curriculum. This document discusses a problem related to quadrilaterals. The results show that the future mathematics educators represented the problem in GeoGebra using their previous mathematical knowledge, examined the properties and attributes of the objects involved, made conjectures, and verified them based on visual and empirical arguments. As part of a final demonstration, they relied on GeoGebra to generate ideas and thus build a deductive argument to ensure their veracity.
