| Sumario: | This rehearsal is configured as an approximation between visual Anthropology and Public Policies, based on photographic images as sources of anthropological research linked to the community affected by the dam with a focus on their collective memories. Its general objective was to analyze riverside memories, survey communities resettled in farm villages, produce photographs of the community and present a set of images of the farm village infrastructure as mitigating public policies. The methodology was based on qualitative research, bibliographical research, theoretical review and fieldwork, as well as the creation of photographic images. The sociocultural data collected indicate that social and political actions in resettlement imply new identity, cultural and political constructions, for example, the construction of the notion of those affected by dams, while the use of photographs can support compensatory public policies, as well as in the evaluation of impacts, to guarantee the right to access their memories.
