Resumo:Initially we sought to analyze in this article how we could examine the theme of education in the work of Paul Ricoeur, as he left no texts focused on this subject. In this context, Novaski's work intends to follow, in its own way, the same path that we seek by pointing out three striking features in Ricoeur's philosophy which contribute to the philosophy of education, namely, contemporaneity, hermeneutics and psychoanalysis. Based on the established horizon and Novaski's contribution, we present our own contribution, by revealing the Ricoeurian philosophy as a fair perspective not only for pondering over the philosophy of education, but also teaching.
