Sumario:This research’s goal is to study the Haitian immigration to the city of Jundiaí-SP, which started in the year of 2012, looking to understand the reasons that led this people to immigrate from their home country and the motivation to choose Jundiaí as destination, ether final or passing. To do so, we used a great extent of researches from doctorate, master’s and academic texts to the theoretical background, since the Haitian immigration to national territory is relatively recent and there is no official data such as Censo, which was realized for the last time in 2010, to be relied on. This research also relies on the data from the Centro Scalabriano de Promoção ao Migrante (CESPROM) of Jundiaí, a catholic entity that receives immigrants and offers Portuguese and technical courses to them, this entity has a fundamental role on including this people in the society of Jundiaí. We also worked with issues related to the work done by immigrants in the city, how racial prejudices hinder their entry in the labor market and how they often have their rise within a company hampered by the same reason
