| Resumo: | The article contains a historical and conceptual review of the political and legal impacts of technology, presenting challenges related to innovation and intellectual property for Brazil. History shows that from doing to the technique of doing, the technique has evolved into science and technology. The intellectual property of technology had feudal privileges as its first landmarks, then came liberal norms, internationalization, and the globalization process. In this context, the concepts of innovation and intellectual property related to commerce in law, politics, economics, and society are presented. |
