Sumario:The Brazilian Sign Language (LIBRAS) is a visual gestural language used by the deaf community and currently included in the National Curriculum of undergraduate courses. Therefore, it was planned through this work to consider and discuss about this theme, based on the inclusion in a constructivist conception about learning. Thereby, this work aimed to perform the Brazilian Sign Language in non-formal spaces, where hearing people met the reality experienced by deaf people; focusing on to build knowledge about the Brazilian Sign Language (LIBRAS); breaking stigmas concerning the disability through recognition of their culture and identity. The guiding procedures of this work comes from the Extension Project entitled “Leaning LIBRAS in non-formal spaces: learning for not exclude”, being held in main squares, churches, houses and among others, encouraging them to learn the Brazilian Sign Language. Consequently, the use of LIBRAS (Brazilian Sign Language) in non-formal spaces through the adoption and dialogue among all. Keywords: LIBRAS, Inclusion, Non-formal spaces and society.
