| Resumo: | The article surveys the temporal and spatial evolution of the dengue epidemic in the urban area of Juiz de Fora (MG), with the objective of studying the increase in dengue cases mainly in the years 2010, 2013, 2015 and 2016. Initially, the article conducted through a bibliographic review an analysis of the history of dengue cases in Brazil. Subsequently, using data obtained at the Juiz de Fora health and surveillance center, 4 maps were prepared corresponding to dengue cases in the years 2010, 2013, 2015 and 2016, to illustrate spatially dengue cases in the urban area of Juiz de Fora. |
