Summary:A new species, Serjania glandulosa, from Serra do Cabral, Brazil, is described, illustrated and compared to its putative closest relative S. acutidentata. In addition, micromorphological characters of epidermis and pollen grains are also described. This species is endemic to the campo rupestre vegetation. The new species belongs to Serjania section Serjania. A key to identify related species from S. glandulosa is included.
