| Resumo: | This work, of bibliographic character, aims to analyze the relationship between the concepts of truth and power in Michel Foucault. The text was built through reflections on the power microphysics work, and dialogue with other thinkers of Social and Human Sciences, such as Durkheim, Marx, Weber, Bourdieu, Norbert Elias. Foucault's theory appears in the current academic context as an alternative to paragraph thinking power and its various forms of social manifestations. The truth and presented how closely element on the social practices that enable the realization of disciplinary devices, or even, hum discursive regime. For Foucault the power and microphysical and not restricted if only one hum following the social structures constituting a from the various social practice where the power and truth are exercised.
