Descrição
Resumo:The essay approaches readings (André Cechinel, Fábio Durão and Marcos Natali) of the emblematic text by Antonio Candido, to discuss the powers attributed to Literature in research developed at Profletras. Such attribution would reveal not only a view of what a literary text is, but also the use of the literary objects in research act. The hypothesis raised is that the idealization of the effects of reading is instrumentalized in an end that may slide into the positivist and into the moralizing intentions.
