Descrição
Resumo:We analyze the phenomenon of the configuration of markets for ethnic products and services within the Brazilian immigrant communities established overseas. Through a theoretical essay, considerations are made based on findings from previous works, on empirical evidence and authors' observations regarding the practices of ethnic markets within Brazilian communities. The reporting and interpretation of historical facts were structured in the form of analysis of the theme. At the end of the theoretical essay, two diagrams are presented summarizing the findings discussed. The table refers to transaction practices that generate value co-creation, normative practices and representational practices based on empirical evidences. The diagram illustrates the configuration of ethnic markets in time and and environmental dimensions, in order to identify internal factors of the community or the external environment that would facilitate the creation of markets.
