| Summary: | This work is the result of reflections carried out in the Rural Extension Laboratory on the importance of public policies for the strengthening of family agriculture and aims to analyze the consolidation of the discussions on Territorial Development Policies in the Lençóis / Munim Territory. In order to achieve the results, the use of information from IBGE's agricultural and livestock censuses (2006) and the Municipal Development Index (IMESC) and Living Conditions Index (SDT / MDA) Referring to the year 2010. Based on the analysis of this set of related data, it was concluded that the development pattern of the Lençóis Maranhenses/Munim Territory is determined by the socioeconomic characteristics of the municipalities that compose it, which in turn is a reflection of the socioeconomic reality of the Own State of Maranhão. |
